Final Update: Delay With The 2nd Annual Oscine Awards [2020]

So here we are. The Oscars begin in like an hour or so and we’re not going to make it. We’d decided last year that we’d try and get the Oscines out before the Academy Awards, but the Academy pushing their dates forward stitched us up a bit. But whatever the case! The real problem we’re having is that the post is hella complicated. I feel bad for the Cap’n, since he’s the guy who handles all the HTML on our fancier posts, and he’s been using every bitty bit of his free time trying to fix up the mess the Spotty and I made on the post. So… I’m helping out!

(It’s bloody six in the morning here and all I can see in my eyes is HTML tags…)

And this post… this post has gone from being a labour of love to slave labour. We’ve been using the new Block Editor on WordPress ever since it came out and it’s NOT helping. But we’re getting there. The post is coming along real nice but it’s going to take us forever to finish it. With the Oscars only a few hours away, we’re going to take a break and plug our ears because we’re focussing on the REAL awards dammit! We should be done with the post in a few days or something like that (depending on how much time we can both put in) so we’ll let the Oscars take centre stage for now.

We’ll be back with the most important awards soon and we’re sorry for messing things up so much. Have fun at the Academy Awards everyone! You know they’re only a trailer for the Oscines anyway!
