The Crow: Two weeks. I step away for two weeks, and everything comes apart at the seams on The Corvid Review. In any case, because it’s been left too late (and for the sake of my own well-being), I’d like to be the first to wish my first officer a very-belated, yet very Happy, Birthday on the blog. And given the occasion, I’d like to address her directly in the rest of this post. But before I do,

The Crow: Here’s the other half of your present, you wierd bird (two weeks late, but still): 

This time, I’m not even going to fight you on your choice of “heroic pose”. The picture should be exactly what you wanted, as you wanted it. The two things I missed out, I’ll add in later (I know, I know), but just how many fandoms did you really expect me to pack into one drawing?
(And yes, that’s our King up on your shoulder, because you’re his favourite subject.) 

And speaking of fandoms, here’s a Magic: The Gathering card crafted after you, with rules that I think make perfect sense for it:

A marked improvement over the current one, isn’t it? Not that it’s that bad a card, now that I look at it.

I’ll probably face you in ranked soon. Won’t that be something?

I’d thank you for all your help on The Corvid Review, since it wouldn’t be here without you, but there’s a lot more than that to owe you. We’ve had our ups, we’ve had our downs, and you’ve been through a lot lately, so I won’t go on with this. You know what I mean when I say thanks.
