A News Update, by the Crow.
The things I get woken up in the middle of the night for…
I’m very happy to hear (and, I guess, announce) that Agassi / The Handmaiden will receive a UK release on April the 14th.
This movie was my top pick of last year and is a work of absolute genius. I’m definitely going to go watch it again at the theatres when it comes out (and drag that Magpie with me), and I urge all of you in the UK to do the same. It’s a masterful movie which deserves every single drop of praise it receives.
UK RELEASE TRAILER
Park Chan-wook continues to be one of my favourite directors, and is one of those rare kinds of people who seems to do no wrong.
The Handmaiden is packed full of stellar performances, a riveting plot, and some of the best visuals I’ve seen in a long, long time. It’s well worth a watch.
